Sav Side 3×3 Tournament – Unstoppable Players and Unforgettable Moments!

An Unforgettable Day of 3×3 Basketball!

The Sav Side 3×3 Tournament brought an explosion of energy, skill, and drama to the court. Fans were treated to a series of exhilarating games where the competition was fierce, and the talent on display was nothing short of spectacular. From clutch shots to dominant defensive plays, this tournament had it all.

Dynasty Makers: Champions with Star Power
The Dynasty Makers didn’t just win the tournament—they dominated it. Finishing with a perfect 5-0 record, they were led by tournament MVP Justin Collins, whose combination of scoring ability and leadership set the tone for his team’s success. Alongside him, Kwei General was a defensive powerhouse, shutting down opponents and making key plays when it mattered most. Their synergy was unmatched, and their victory was well-deserved.

The Hurricanes: A Storm of Talent
The Hurricanes finished second, but not without making a statement. Daric Ebanks was a force to be reckoned with, showcasing his athleticism and scoring touch throughout the tournament. Delroy Irving complemented Ebanks perfectly, bringing intensity and clutch performances in crucial moments. This dynamic duo carried The Hurricanes to a 3-2 record, proving they’re a team with serious potential.

Summer Heat: Rising Stars
Summer Heat’s third-place finish was fueled by the exceptional play of Josh Cotterell. Josh was a sharpshooter from beyond the arc, while Reuben Smith controlled the tempo of the game with his court vision and decision-making. Their chemistry on the court was a joy to watch, and their leadership propelled Summer Heat to a 2-2 finish. These two are certainly names to watch in future tournaments.

Cay Clutch and Tigers: Gritty Performances
Cay Clutch had moments of brilliance, driven by the efforts of Alexander Thompson, who was a standout for his team with his scoring and hustle. Thompson’s impact was undeniable, even though Cay Clutch ended with a 1-4 record. The Tigers, despite a tough tournament, showed heart in every game, with standout performances from their key players, though they couldn’t secure a win this time around.

3 Point Contest

In the Sav Side 3-point Contest, 8 players took to the Court to vy for 3-point supremacy. In the end, it was the very same top 2 players of the tournament, Ebanks and Collins, that faced off for the Title. Collins would emerge victorious and now hold bragging rights until the next event.
