Skills and Drills Camp
The Cayman basketball community has plenty to celebrate as our latest Skills & Drills Basketball Camp officially came to a close today.
Over the course of the camp, young athletes from across the island gathered in the gym with one shared goal — to improve. Through structured stations, competitive drills, and controlled scrimmages, players focused on strengthening their fundamentals, including ball handling, footwork, shooting mechanics, defensive positioning, and overall basketball IQ.
But beyond skill development, something even more important happened.
Growth, Confidence & Fun
From the first whistle to the final buzzer, the energy in the gym was electric. Players challenged themselves, encouraged one another, and embraced the learning process. Coaches emphasized discipline, teamwork, and confidence — ensuring that each participant left better than they arrived.
Smiles were just as visible as sweat.
For many of our young athletes, this camp was not just about basketball — it was about building confidence, creating friendships, and developing a deeper love for the game.

Proceeds from the Skills & Drills Basketball Camp will directly support our National Program teams as they prepare for international competitions this summer. These funds assist with training, travel, uniforms, and overall preparation as our athletes represent the Cayman Islands on the regional and international stage.
When families register for camp, they are doing more than enrolling their child in training — they are investing in the continued growth of basketball in the Cayman Islands.
