Slashbros Shine like Shooting Stars
What an incredible event we witnessed at the Shooting Stars 3×3 Tournament this weekend. The U18 Boys category brought us some of the most thrilling and dynamic basketball action we’ve seen in a while. Let’s dive into the highlights.
Leading the charge was Andre Jourdain of the Slashbros. This young athlete, sporting jersey #5, was nothing short of spectacular. With a total of 38 points, Jourdain showcased his scoring versatility, netting 27 one-pointers and hitting four crucial two-pointers. His performance was a masterclass in basketball proficiency and sheer determination.
Close on his heels was Gabriel Oplustil from the Sparkies. Oplustil put on a shooting exhibition, racking up 37 points. His ability to sink fifteen two-pointers was awe-inspiring, demonstrating his range and accuracy. Gabriel kept his team in the hunt with his remarkable scoring ability and court vision.
Geoffrey Morris, also from the Slashbros, deserves special recognition. With 29 points, Morris was the perfect complement to Jourdain. His balanced approach and relentless hustle on both ends of the court were vital to his team’s success. The Slashbros’ duo of Jourdain and Morris proved to be a formidable force.
Obrien Wilson from the Sparkies also shone brightly, tallying 27 points. His clutch shooting and aggressive drives to the basket were key to his team’s performance. Wilson’s tenacity and determination were evident throughout the tournament, making him a standout player.
