National Boys & Girls Under 16 League Tips Off
The Cayman Islands Basketball Association (CIBA) is pleased to announce the launch of the National Boys & Girls 16 & under League, which officially begins on March 6th.
This league continues CIBA’s commitment to building a strong player development pathway by providing structured, competitive opportunities for youth athletes in the 16 U age category. The 16 U League plays a vital role in preparing players for higher levels of competition, including national team opportunities, while emphasizing skill development, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Key Dates & Information
📅 League Start Date: March 6th – May 29th 2027
🗓 Registration Deadline: February 20th
🏀 Game Days: Saturday and Tuesday afternoons
All teams interested in participating are encouraged to register before the Feb 20th deadline to ensure proper team placement and league organization. Players must be born after July 1st 2010.
Additional details regarding venues, schedules, and team assignments will be communicated after registration closes.
